LONDON--Garuda Indonesia was awarded as best airline in the world for regional aviation services. Awards received by the Director of Garuda Indonesia, Emirsyah Satar on the sidelines aerospace in exhibition of the Farnborough International Airshow, in London, England, Thursday (07/12/2012) afternoon local time Thursday evening.
The award in the field of passenger service was provided by Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax, an independent maker of commercial aircraft flight ratings are based in London.
Garuda received two awards as the best regional airline in Asia. One other award was for the best regional airline of the world.
Garuda as the best in Asia from regional airline to beat China, Europe, South America, and Latin America.(*)
