Invitation for the 2x25 MW Kendari Coal Fired Steam Power Plant

INVITATION
FOR THE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS
FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF
THE 2X25 MW) KENDARI COAL FIRED STEAM POWER PLANT
INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT

PT PLN (Persero) (PLN) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the Project Sponsor) to develop Kendari Coal Fired Steam Power Plant IPP Project in South East Sulawesi Province, Republic Indonesia. The selected Project Sponsor will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project with net capacity of 2X25 MW on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to a twenty five (25) years; and finance and construct the associated 150 KV transmission line, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility.

This Pre-Qualification is open to interrested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing power generation project and will beselected through a competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria set forthin Pre-QualificationDocument. The Qualification Criteria will be based on three categories represent the Applicant's ability to develop IPP projects, its power generation experience and its financial strenght.

PLN invites interested parties to submit PQ's applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.


Pre-Qualification Document may be collected from June 11, 2010 to June 28, 2010 to July 08, 2010 at the following hours: 09.00 - 15.00 West Indonesia Standard Time after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount IDR 2.500.000 (two million and five hundred thousand rupiahs) by cash at the following address:
