JAKARTA- The Government of Indonesia by the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) has launched a book project plans public-private partnerships or PPPs Book 2012. The book contains 58 projects of the government infrastructure.
"The project is proposed by the ministries and local governments as Responsible Project Cooperation (PJPK)," said Minister of Planning / Head of Bappenas Armida S. Alisjahbana, in his office, Jalan Diponegoro, Jakarta, Wednesday (04/07/2012).
Armida said the 58 projects consists of 26 priority projects, 29 potential projects, and three projects that are ready to offer. The total value of U.S. $ 51 billion, or around Rp 459 trillion.
Here are 10 priority projects for the government in 2012 that requires big capital:
1. Sunda Strait bridge

Bridge connecting the island of Java and Sumatra is located in the province of Banten and Lampung. The length of the bridge is estimated to 27.4 km across the Sunda Strait. Estimated budget required to build this bridge to reach U.S. $ 25 billion, or around Rp 225 trillion.
