Telkom Get Loan USD 4 Trillion To Acquisition

PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (Persero) received loans of Rp 4 trillion from the two government-owned banks. Two banks are PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BRI).

"We can standby loan of Rp 4 trillion from the two banks, it is for the capex, mergers or acquisitions in the next year," said Telkom Finance Director Sudiro Asno the office of the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs/BUMN), Jl Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta, Monday ( 8/10/2010)

He said the BRI will provide loans of Rp 3 trillion, while the BNI as much as $ 1 trillion. The plan, loan signing will be conducted on October 13, 2010.

According Asno, the loan has a term of five years with interest rates set for the second of this debt amounted to Jakarta Interbank Offered Rate (JIBOR) plus 1.25 basis points.

"Or about 8.35 per cent," he explained.

On the same occasion, he said, business unit consolidation plan of the Company, with Telkom Flexi Esia owned by PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (BTEL) will bring in fresh funds for the company the red plate.

He made sure, in the joint later Telkom will not issue any funds. Currently, discussions are still ongoing cooperation, so that he can not predict the amount of funds that can be diraup later.
